From Nov 1st, 2011 the Federal Government has reduced the number of Medicare funded sessions to a maximum of 10 per calendar year. Some people may require further treatment, and they could then access Private Health insurance rebates when applicable.

If you are referred by your General Practitioner under a Mental Health Care Plan, Medicare will provide a rebate of at least $124.50 for each session (depending upon safety net status). This leaves a gap of around $110 for full fee paying clients.

See more information on medicare rebates here and more information on on medicare and psychology services in general Here

Clients are encouraged to speak with Rosalind about any financial barriers they may have to accessing treatment.

In certain hardship conditions, a reduced fee can be arranged.

Clients may elect to claim rebates from their Private Health Fund. However, the Government does not allow both types of rebates to be claimed for the one session. Please advise if you would prefer to claim through your Private Health fund.

Group sessions may also attract Medicare rebates.

First time clients who book online via this website are asked to contact Rosalind directly to confirm an initial appointment by (secure) pre-paying. At least 24 hours notice must be given to cancel any appointment to avoid a cancellation fee.
